VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS QUILT BACK FROM THE QUILTER

I received my Very Merry Christmas quilt in the mail from Mary  Quilt Hollow and I love it !

As alway she did a Amazing job quilting this for me.

Love the swirls and stars ......

Still need to find 2 buttons for eyes for Mr. Gingerbread Man .

This is the back of the quilt ....

I started sewing the binding on last night while watching the Oscars.

It only measures 32" x 44" just a perfect size to hang on my wall for Christmas .

Next project is preparing the baby quilt so that I can quilt it :-D

Found the Dachshund fabric for the baby quilt !

Found this perfect DOG  fabric for the backing of the baby quilt I just finished sewing together :-D

Isn't it just the cutest ?

It is called  VICTORIA HUTTO for Quilting Treasures 

I think it be perfect for a child's quilt.  Found it at my local Ben Franklin store.  

I walked into the store and asked the person in the fabric section if she had any Dachshund fabric and she said " Lets go check out our dog section "  We walked over to this wall of different dog fabrics. I was shocked that had so much !

So glad I found this fabric and now I can finish this quilt :-D

My garden in Bloom and baby quilt

Hi

It has been over 2 weeks since I have posted on my blog :-(

I have been without internet and house phone for the last 6 days and have been trying to catch up with  what I have missed on blogland.
I have been on instagram while I had not internet . Such a fun way to take a picture and say a little something about it.  My instagram  name is sue_babich if you would like to follow me.

I did finish  sewing together  a baby quilt that I am making for a friends son & wife. Just need to find some dachshund fabric for the backing . Their colors are yellow & grey. It measure 40" x 48 " .

We have been working in the yard alot also these last 2 weeks. The weather has been in the 70's so we have been cleaning up flower beds and hubby has been raking leaves and pine needles.

I walked our our property this morning to see what is blooming and took pictures to share with you.
