A new quilt project STRAWBERRIES 'N CREAM QUILT

Spring is in the air and when I saw this quilt pattern Strawberries ' n Cream pattern by Mountain Rose designs on  you can find this wonderful pattern on her  ETSY   and Strawberry fields revisited fabric  line by Fig Tree it was love at first sight !!

 Their are 41 blocks in this quilt....

and this is the first block I have made such a fun and easy block to make

I have cut  and prepared  8 more blocks and have them on my small design boards by the machine ready to start sewing together. There are 41 of these blocks in the quilt.  I am hoping to sew 1 or 2 a day as I we have been busy in the yard and with family.

the sashing around the blocks is this pretty  cream fabric with soft pastel flowers and the cornerstones is the red polka dots.

Preparing backings for 2 quilts

Hi

You may remember these 2 quilt top I completed earlier this year.
They have been just sitting here and today is the day I prepare the backings to I can mail them to my quilter .

                         This is my  Prairie Flower quilt made with Urban Cowgirl fabric

                  This floral fabric will be my backing and the plaid is for my binding

             This is my Welded quilt made with Sweet as Honey fabric

   The honey bees fabric is my backing and the green fabric is my binding

It will be so nice to have these sent out today so that I can decide on my next project !
