Dogs in Sweaters Gift received

Very Happy Recipients  !! 

You can see by the pictures why I made this baby quilt  for this Sweet family expecting their second child next month.  Their 2 Doxies gave it their stamp of approval

Now isn't it what is really all about when we make quilts for others .  

It is the joy of giving to others.

Now we have to wait for baby #2 to arrive !

GARDEN SNAILS QUILT DONE !!!

Hi Everyone !

Hope everyone is enjoying your summer  so far .

It has been very hot here in California the last few days and no relief in sight till a week from Friday :-(    So I go out first thing in the morning to water and tend to my gardens before it gets too hot.

I just could not wait to show you my Snails quilt!  I just finished binding it yesterday and here it is ..

  Fabrics I used is Tula Pink & Kaffee Fasset and the quilting design is called PEARCE by URBAN ELEMENTZ

I made this quilt to hang in my sewing room above my drafting table and I just Love it !
It is so bright and colorful and brings a smile to my face when I see it.
As you know all know besides making quilts I love gardening :-D

 I also made these 2 individual Snails for a friend of mines 2 Grandsons .

Dogs in Sweaters quilt and Garden Snails quilt

Hi Everyone !

Sorry I having MIA for awhile. I had computer problems and could not get in my gmail and just figured it out. SO..

Thought I would show you my  Dogs in Sweaters quilt...

I just got it back from my quilter  and the quilting design I chose is  called " COOL BEANS "
It almost matches the Sweater on dog #2 don't you think ;-)

Just Love the GLASSES !!

This is the backing I chose

It is already on its way to its new home. The baby is Due in July
