We packed out tent trailer and spent the week at Capitola Beach , California with our good friends ! Walked the beach and went out to dinner and breakfast each day. There is a wonderful little place named " ZELDA'S " where we had our meals. Thursday night is LOBSTER night ! $11.99 for a whole Lobster and rice pilaf ! WOW! Carmel was only 35 minutes from our campground so we drove over there for breakfast one day. My girlfriend and I always share a meal and that morning we had a Lobster, Crab & Shrimp omelet !
Our last morning we drove to this wonderful bakery and we had a pastry and coffee!

I just had to take a picture of the 2 Mother's Day cakes and had on display.

ReplyDeleteThis was a fun trip. The beach looks tempting. You also had some gastronomic adventure there. Those cakes look delicious. This is a great way to celebrate mother’s day and any other special occasions. What I appreciate with this kind of celebration is the surprises you will encounter. Look at that starfish. It’s not everyday you can touch those sea creatures.
