Good News ! The 90 degree weather went away for a couple of days so I was able to finish the binding on my Maison De Garance Hot Cross quilt.
I just love this fabric and I am so glad I was able to finish it.
I made this using 1 layer cake and a jelly roll.. Finished size is 78 " X 78 "
I chose a lovely floral border
This is my backing I chose.
The last 2 days I have been also working on my VINTAGE ROUGE QUILT 6 MONTH SEW ALONG.
This is my progress so far on Block month # 1 and # 2.
So much fun to make these blocks and Doreen's tutorials are so helpful
I just love your Maison de Garance - the fabrics and palette are gorgeous. It's got me thinking...I've got a collection of fabrics in a similar colour story - might have to add this to my TO DO list. Thanks for the inspiration!
