My friend has a sashiko machine. I ought to have her finish up some of my work...thanks for idea! These are sweet too!
ReplyDeleteGlad you like them! They look wonderful all finished up!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look of those quilted stitches!
What nice finishes!
ReplyDeleteWow! 2 finishes so wonderfully done. That machine is incredible. I'd love to see the stitch in person.
ReplyDeleteVery nice Cheryl and Sue! Both of these cuties are perfect with the sashiko stitching. It is an amazing machine, tried one at our LQS and was very tempted to buy it. Very fun!
ReplyDeleteTwo great finishes, Sue! I have the pattern for the pumpkin quilt - I'd best get to making it. Your friend did a lovely job on the quilting....the Sashiko almost does look real!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Love them both! The quilting is great! I recently heard about the Sashiko machine. I don't know if my husband would ever understand the need for another quilting machine after he just bought me a Baby Lock Tiara though! lol
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are beautiful--love little quilts. Seeing a UFO completed is giving me motivation to tackle my own
ReplyDeleteThe stitching does look like it was done by hand. A luxury item to have a sashiko machine but oh so tempting. Nice of Cheryl to do that for you.
