I am very excited to share my new quilt project with you :-D
TREE BELLS
The pattern TREE BELLS will be 72" x 74 " wall quilt by Barbara Cherniwchan for coach house designs. The fabric line we are using is SHARE THE JOY by Deb Strain for Moda
This weekend I have been preparing all of my appliqué pieces
Hey You! I have this pattern. We saw it at Quilters Corner in Sac. The quilting was amazing, like blowing swirls of snow! We fell in love! I plan to use it as a de-stashing project!
I love how this is coming together for you ... it's going to be a fabulous quilt!
Like Cathy, I'm curious what method of applique you're using. I've got a Kim Diehl Idaho Lily kit that I am anxious to work on, but I'm definitely a beginner with applique (I've only done one block, and it was hexies ... I left the basting in so the edges stayed under). It wasn't perfect, but I wasn't terribly unhappy with how it turned out. But I am not going to have that luxury with the Kim Diehl kit. ;-)

ReplyDeleteI like this! What applique method are you using? How big are the blocks? I'm wondering if I could downsize it to about half the original size.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous pattern! Have fun making it!
