A very busy month...

Hi Everybody and Happy Fall !!!

I have not posted in quite awhile

My Dad became very ill and was put in intensive care for a week then transferred to  acute care facility for 2 weeks . He is now home and being  taken care of by in home care.

So to say the least no sewing has been going on here.

Before all of this happened I was starting to make my blocks for VIOLA using Farmhouse fabric.

This has been hanging on my design wall  for almost 1 month

This is what I have been using all these years .......

And now I have the SEAMS SEW EASY SEAM GUIDE  by Lori Holt
No morning tape coming undone . Can't wait to try it :-D
Maybe I can find some time this weekend to sew this block together and start another one.

My name was chosen by Sinta of   PINK PINCUSHION  .

She was having this wonderful give away  that if your name was chosen you could go over to the Fat Quarter Shop online and pick a  Fat Quarter bundle  of your choice.  I chose Nettie Peterson's Blogger's Choice ! Just fell in love the the blues & oranges in this bundle.

Thank You Sinta and Fat Quarter Shop for such a generous give away

HAPPY SEWING !!

Sue

  1. What holds the one by Lori Holt in place if not tape?

  2. The projects you have been able to work on are lovely. I really like your fabric choices for Viola. Yes, I'm like Karen and wondering how the Seam So Easy stays in place. Great new fabric to play with. Hope all goes well with your dad.

  3. So sorry to hear about your father. Let me know how the Seam So Easy works. I heard the Angler is no longer available, so I want something new to suggest to students.
