This is my very first paper pieced quilt I have ever made and I just love how it turned out.
Doreen & I both made this quilt together and it holds a very special place in my heart. She designed this pattern and sent me tutorials thru out the process of making this quilt . She is a amazing designer & teacher.
HAPPY FALL !

Beautiful! Perfect for this time of year. Lovely story about making it, too.
ReplyDeleteI love the accuracy of paper piecing, but not having to pull out all that paper. Well done!
This is so warm and pretty! That quilting is incredible!
ReplyDeleteLove the new quilt. Doreen's pattern is a winner and the pattern combined with the great fall colors you chose make for a great collaborative Fall quilt. This might be the 1st pattern that I would be willing to paper piece because the result would be worth the effort.
ReplyDeleteLove the antique feel, definitely a cozy charming quilt. Isn't paper piecing great!
ReplyDeleteCome see my entries #23 antique zigzag quilt and #46 repro tulip quilt
