Aloha Girl Tiled Blooms Quilt is coming home

I just received these pictures from Mary Quilt Hollow of my Aloha Girl Tiled Blooms  Quilt that she just finished quilting for me and I LOVE IT !!

The quilting design is call Star Flowers ........
The center of the flowers look almost like starfish to me :-D

I have another small quilt I am working on right now and I will share that with you soon.

A few finished projects

Hi

Hope everyone is enjoying there summer!
It has been a very busy one here.
My youngest daughter bought a house and we were helping her last week move in.


I did finish Tree Bells !!!

It barely fit on my design wall.... measures  74" x 72"

The bow is SO big that it would not fit on my ironing board...

I made a " make shift " ironing board on my dining room table with a cutting mat & 3 bath towels underneath it to fuse the bow pieces down

Yesterday I made 8 burp cloths  for my grandson  who turned 1 month old on  august 4th
We have also been going down alot to  have lots of cuddle time with our grandson :-D

Making progress on Tree Bells

I can not believe how fast this quilt is going so far

Yesterday I made great progress and finished fusing all of my appliqué pieces on the blocks. and laid out all of the background pieces .  I even have the bow all fused & cut out ready to go.
I LOVE IT  :-D

I am hoping this weekend to find the time to invisible machine appliqué the blocks and sew this quilt together
