Moda Love Quilt finish

Hi !

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer !

We have been working in our gardens first thing in the morning while it is cool and we
have been enjoying tomatoes from our garden and plums and peaches from our fruit trees.

                       
I wanted to share with you that I  finished binding my Moda Love quilt  using Sweetwater fabric

                                              The quilting design I chose is Peeled Onion

  Our Grandson celebrated his 2 nd birthday on July 4th.  His Auntie bought him his first bike and he is to wear his helmet when he rides he bike.

Stars and Stripes Pineapple quilt and 4th of July !!!

                                                       Happy 4th of July Everyone !!!

Just finished sewing my STARS AND STRIPES PINEAPPLE QUILT  together.
It is a free pattern from Jedi Craft Girl   and Gigi's Thimble   and is another wonderful five fat quarter fun quilt pattern . I made mine smaller then the pattern called for.  Mine measures 55 1/2" x 36 1/2".
I just wanted a small quilt this time to hang on my quilt ladder

I fell in love with Gigi's Thimble's quilt and shamefully used the same background and found most of the fabrics online she used. The background is Robert Kaufman ESSEX Yarn dyed linen cotton blend and the color is Chambray

                            Such a beautiful day for the 4th of July Parade in our small town of Grass Valley !
