Farmers Market Basket quilt in my Sewing Room

Hi

Is everyone ready for Labor Day weekend ?  The last weekend of summer !  I don' know about you but I am ready for fall.  It is my favorite time of year with the cooler nights and the changing of the colors of the maple trees .

I thought I would share a picture of my Farmers Market basket quilt hanging in my sewing room  / office. I finished the binding last night and could not wait to hang it this morning !  I think it adds a bit of Whimsy to the room, don't you ?

    Imagine taking all those baskets and filling them with goodies on your next trip to Apple Hill...we're looking forward to our next visit there in about a month!!!!

    Your basket quilt looks good displayed on the wall. I don't have wall space large enough in the sewing room to hang a quilt like that. My room is too full of fabric and patterns.

    Although I like fall, I am not looking forward to summer ending. I so enjoy our night swims in the pool. We can still do that in September but after that, it will probably be day time swims only. I guess it is time to get out the fall quilts and display them.

    That looks like the perfect place for the basket quilt... you get to enjoy it everytime you're in your sewing room!
