I had big plans Sunday morning to sew my Nantucket Flimsy together and then.... the pipes froze and one of them burst ! We have been without water since Sunday morning. I was hoping to finish this quilt so that I could move on to my next project . Our friend is headed over now to help hubby fix the pipe. Yeahhh!
Well it looks just great, and you don't have much more to go! Good Luck with pipes!
ReplyDeleteWow, a burst pipe! That's no fun. Isn't snow pretty unusual in your area? Your quilt is coming along nicely though.
ReplyDeleteOh no! What a terrible thing. The quilt looks marvelous. It is almost done!
ReplyDeleteHi Sue...your quilt looks wonderful. It will be so pretty when it's done!! Hope you get your water up and running soon. We have very cold temps here for the past week...warming up a bit now. Your house looks lovely with the snow.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! Nancy
Woww, doesn't that look wonderful? I hope you have your water back on now - that mmust be so difficult to manage without it.
ReplyDeleteLooking good! Yikes, hope it warms up soon and your water gets fixed.
ReplyDeleteOh no! We have been holding our breath that our pipes hold! Last time we had a cold snap like this the pipes broke in my house when I lived in Paradise. Not fun! Hope all is fixed now and you are back to piecing Nantucket today.
ReplyDeleteUgh - being without water is as bad as being without something to sew, Sue! I hope by now you've been able to take a nice hot shower or bath! I imagine Nantucket is nearly done, too - right?
ReplyDeleteCheers!
