Urban Cowgirl Prairie Flower quilt is a FINISH !!!

Another quilt finish for me :-D

I finished binding my Urban Cowgirl Prairie flower quilt a few days ago and I am SO happy with it !!!

I have been hoarding this fabric for quite a few years now looking for the perfect pattern to show off these fabrics. When I saw  the Prairie Flowers free  quilt pattern online it was love at first sight.

This is the backing and binding I chose. Love the plaid binding .

My quilter  suggested the  " Maggie's Roses " quilt pattern

Sew & Sew pillow Sweetwater Volume II fabric

Just finished this pillow yesterday I made for my sewing room chair.

I used only 2 - 2.5" charm packs and and some yardage for the little Spools and background.
I quilted it and added a envelope pillow backing to it.
The pillow finishes at 20".

It is going to be So comfy now when I am sewing at my machine :-D

Thought I would share a picture of my Snowcone  Japanese Snowbell tree  we have in the front yard .

It is in full bloom now and just loaded with these bell shaped flowers and loaded with bees .

It is supposed to be 82 here today so I think I will do some sewing with a glass of ice tea :-D

Enjoy your day !!

Spooky Delights Quilt along

When I saw this free pattern designed by Bunny Hill I just had to make it !

The Fat Quarter shop has the kit and have the Free pattern available on their blog HERE .
The first week was the fabric requirements  and this week is the instructions for making the center of this table runner and next week is the finishing instructions ! How easy is that !

Instagram is having a spookydelightsquiltalong  and it so fun to see the fabrics other quilters are using to make theirs

I started pulling fabrics from my Halloween stash and this is my version....

I know Halloween is months away but just think I am ahead of the game making this now ;-)

This is a picture on the free pattern ;
