Pumpkin Spice Quilt UFO

Finished the invisible machine applique on my PUMPKIN SPICE quilt that I started October 2013
I decided that before I started a new project I was going to finish this UFO.

Found this fabric for the backing in my stash now all I have to do  some simple quilting , bind it and call it a finish !

Christmas Stockings and gardening

This is what I have to show for sewing last week...........

My daughter asked me to make her 9 Christmas stockings for gifts  . We had fun picking out fabric for each of the stockings together  & alot of the fabric was 1/2 off .   Each stocking has its own theme for that person . The Raiders stocking to the left it not quite done.  I am going to pick up some red ribbon to make these Raider theme circles look like Christmas ornaments hanging on the front of the stocking.

Our weather has been in the 70's so I have been working in the yard a little bit.  I finished pruning all of my roses and still cleaning up the gardens  .

My hubby spent 5 days stacking all of that wood we got from our neighbor's tree. I call it our  "  Great Wall of China "

Pepperment Place Quilt is a finish !

I can now call Peppermint Place a finish

While watching the 49ers yesterday I finished sewing my binding and quilt sleeve .

I am going to enjoy it for the month of January in the dining room. This quilt was quite a challenge for me but I did it !  I did invisible machine applique on all of the appliques .

I want to thank Doreen  Aunt Reen's Place for gifting me this wonderful BOM  Christmas quilt and Thank Eileen Robinhill Quilt for the Amazing quilting she did for me.

Enjoy the pictures !

Just look at the back of the quilt

A little sewing ....

Hi

Sorry I was gone so long it has been a busy New Year .

Yes that is my Peppermint Place quilt .  I have been sewing the binding on when I have time at night and have 2 sides done.  I will be sure to post a picture when I have it done.  The quilting is Amazing on this quilt !  I am SO pleased

I did finish the binding on my Gem Collector quilt and I am enjoying it on my couch

The reason I have not been doing much sewing is   that I have been busy pruning my roses and trying to clean up the yard.

AND

This !

Our neighbor had this huge rotten oak tree taken down and they had to use a crane because the tree guys would not take a chance to climb it.  Our neighbor was kind enough to give us the wood .  That is my hubby starting to cut the wood . Our kids came up and helped get alot of it cut and hauled to our house . They are coming back up this weekend to help finish .    Our friend brought his log splitter over and has been splitting the wood as  they bring it over.  Quite a assembly line ! Hopefully this wood will be done this weekend and things will calm down enough so that I can start sewing again.

I did take down my Country Charmer and hung my Swoon quilt for the month of January !

Its a little late to say but ................

Happy New Year Everyone !!
