Thank you Lisa at Stashmaster !!! Lisa had a blog give away for Monique Dillard's New Book " TRADITIONAL FAT QUARTER QUILTS " and for one of Monique's wonderful rulers. My name was Chosen !!! What a lovely surprise !
This book is just wonderful and filled with 11 New quilts projects AND the ruler also came with a free quilt pattern.

I am having a hard deciding which quilt I would like to make . I really like this quilt "PYRAMID " in the blues , browns and reds.

Evening Bloom Applique quilt Project

Well here is my next quilt project AND I AM VERY EXCITED !!!!

EVENING BLOOM !

I have always wanted to learn how to machine applique a quilt on my machine and my Dear Friend Doreen is going to teach me how to do Invisible Applique. Doreen and I will be making this quilt together . We will continue to work on our Calendar Girls each month while working on Evening Bloom.
We have chosen Bridgeport fabric collection by Jo Morton. These reds, blacks and browns are going to be just perfect for this project. I cannot wait to get started.

Spring Cleaning My Sewing Room.......

Welcome to my sewing room / office ! It look so nice after I did my cleaning and organizing that I just had to share . This picture is me entering my sewing room / office . We put cabinets all along the the wall under the window and upper cabinets on each side of the window. Lots of storage ! The left side is my sewing area and the right side is my office.
When you enter the room to the left is my sewing area . The large basket on the floor to the left holds my completed quilt tops ready to be sent to the quilter.

On the other side of the room is my cutting table. Bookcase with my rulers, quilt books and quilt magazines. To the left is my old wicker bookcase that holds all of my finished quilts. I have 2 green baskets on my cutting table, the small one for my rotary cutters and the larger basket for scraps.

Now if it only could stay like this for just a little while!

Happy April 1st !

Sorry I have MIA! I have been cleaning thru my sewing room still and listing quite a bit of fabric on EBAY. I also have been cleaning and organizing the house. Cleaning closets , drawers and closets.

We just got home a little while ago. We drove down to the bay area for the weekend for my daughter and her bridesmaids appointment to try on dresses. What a wonderful time we all had and yes she found her perfect dress. It just brought tears in my eyes seeing her in her dress. Just beautiful ! We spent the nights with friends last night and had a wonderful dinner and a lovely night of visiting.

Now I need to finish my March Calendar block so that I can post her on my blog. Better late then never ;-)
