Split Jack Batik Quilt for Fall in My Sewing Room

I can not believe that it is going to be September next week ! I have really been in the mood for Fall ! My favorite time of year . The trees are changing color already with leaves and acorns falling everywhere. I hung this Split Jack Batik quilt in my sewing room today. My Dear friend Doreen made these beautiful quilt blocks last year and I finished them into a quilt. This is my first attempt on machine quilting.

The Split jack quilt is hanging under my shelf in my sewing room that has part of my collection of Casige Antique Childrens sewing machine's from the early 1900's. Each sewing machine is a storybook theme. Hansel and Gretel , Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf and Cinderella and birds......

Fall is in the air !!!

  6. What a gorgeous collection! I recently started collecting vintage sewing machines and have just purchased a Cinderella Casige machine but am struggling to find out anything about it, other than its model number was 50. Can you enlighten me any further?

Thanks in advance for anything you can tell me. I can already see why collecting these is so addictive...
