2 UFO quilt finishes

I am happy to say that I have 2 of my  UFO quilts   finished !


Thanks to Cheryl   So many quilts , So little time ! blog they are quilted and I just finished the binding on the last one last night.  Cheryl was so sweet  to offer  to quilt these for me on her new Sashiko machine by Babylock .  She thought that these would be good practice for her and  she did a amazing job  !

  5. Very nice Cheryl and Sue! Both of these cuties are perfect with the sashiko stitching. It is an amazing machine, tried one at our LQS and was very tempted to buy it. Very fun!

  6. Two great finishes, Sue! I have the pattern for the pumpkin quilt - I'd best get to making it. Your friend did a lovely job on the quilting....the Sashiko almost does look real!

  7. Love them both! The quilting is great! I recently heard about the Sashiko machine. I don't know if my husband would ever understand the need for another quilting machine after he just bought me a Baby Lock Tiara though! lol

  9. The stitching does look like it was done by hand. A luxury item to have a sashiko machine but oh so tempting. Nice of Cheryl to do that for you.
