Hampton Ridge BOM month # 9 & # 10 has arrived !

Hi !

We have had a beautiful week here in the foothills of California

It has been in the low 70's and we have been getting some much needed rain !

Look what I got ;-)

I am happy to say that my Hampton Ridge BOM Month #9 and #10  arrived in my mailbox Saturday
These are the last 8 blocks I need to make for this quilt.  HAPPY DANCE !

I have already cut out all of fabrics for Month #9   Love the gold fabric !

This is the stack of the 33 blocks I have made so far.

33 down and only 8 to go !

Happy sewing

  1. Sue, you're almost done! I love all the blocks you've made so far and yes, that gold/cheddar fabric is great! Will be looking for another fabulous finish from you soon!

  2. Doing a happy dance must have helped to bring your much needed rain!

  3. Your wall gets prettier with each new block!

  4. Wow ... gorgeous! And your piecing is so precise. That's going to be a fabulous quilt when you're done.

You know, I was thinking yesterday about doing a BOM and then deciding not to because I didn't think I'd have the time, but at least from what I see of your Hampton Ridge BOM, it looks like a BOM would be doable. Maybe I need to rethink my decision to pass on a BOM.

  5. Gorgeous blocks - and SO close to the finish line now! Very exciting!
Happy to hear you're getting some much needed rain too.

  6. You are nearing the finish! Good for you! The colors are stunning and really accent the blocks! Its going to be beautiful :)

  7. These are such beautiful blocks! I love that gold fabric too. You are so close to a finish!!! I was glad to hear you got some rain, we finally got some sunshine!

  8. Well done! look at all those lovely blocks.

  9. Some of those blocks look a little complicated. Are any of them paper pieced?
That's going to be a lovely quilt!

  10. Woo-hoo! The finish line is in sight, Sue!
