Lucy is Home

Look what came in the mail this week !!!

Lucy is quilted and arrived here this week and I LOVE IT !!!

Mary of Quilt Hollow  did a amazing job custom quilted my quilt for me.
This is  her own original design :-D

The Spider webs are just perfect . Just look at the back of the quilt .

I have ordered a black fabric named American Gothic for the binding . I used this line fabric for the
black fabric in my quilt.

It has been a busy week here.  I did finish sewing the binding on my Autumn woods quilt and yesterday I quilted the baby quilt I was working on and have my binding sewn on , now just need to hand sew the binding while watching TV at night. So it has been a very productive week :-)

The weather has been gorgeous here and is expected to be 80 here this weekend .

Hope everyone has a great weekend !

HAPPY SEWING ....

Sue

I am reminded of my friends son bringing home a sleek black cat named Lucifer, who later turned out to be Lucy!

  4. The spider web quilting design is so fitting for your quilt. You have a new quilt for fall and here it is just coming on spring!

  5. I am having Mary do the exact same thing on my Lucy. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right? Your Lucy turned out magnificently.

  6. Mary did an amazing design, love how the spiderweb designs line up and create new blocks, even on the back! Very cool and you are getting allot done. It's getting cloudy here in Chico this morning, the rain may come in a little sooner. Enjoy!
