Family ... Happy Easter

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been gone for so long in blog land.

I have been in a lot of stress this last few months so I have been doing no sewing or blogging. Just too hard to concentrate with everything that has been going on.

My Dad came down really ill in February and was in the hospital with Pneumonia , urinary track infection and we almost lost him. He was then sent to a rehab home for 5 weeks and was released last week because there was nothing more  they could do for him.

My sister and I found a wonderful in-home group in their area . Mom has finally agreed on having in home care and we had her meet the primary caregiver before she signed the contract.
I am happy to say that the caregiver is just the sweetest and loving woman and has been a big help for my Mom taking care of Dad at home.
So I am feeling very relieved now knowing he is taken care of :-D

I even did a little sewing yesterday and of course I have been working  in my gardens and thought I would share some pictures with you

Wishing you all a Very Happy Easter with your families.
I know I sure will

Sue

  1. Your garden is amazing as it is every year. Given what has been on your plate these last months, it's even more so. I'm not surprised that Let It Snow wasn't on your radar...you can find the free downloads on the Buttermilk Basin website. Click on the Free BOM tab. Hugs and Best Wishes.

  3. Good that your Dad can be at home with some outside help. I had my mother living with us the last ten years of her life. Good to be with family in familiar surroundings.
