Progress on Swoon and cleaning thru my stash.....

Little by little I am making progress on my Swoon quilt blocks. Today I finished this 4th block and now need to decide how many more blocks I want to make. I am making a block here and there when I am not working on my calendar girl block each month & my Vintage Rouge BOM.  I am so sorry I have not posted the last 2 weeks :-(   I have been cleaning thru my stash of fabric and listing alot of fall & Halloween fabric on Ebay .  I now have 25 listings on Ebay right now and I will be listing alot more again this week.
Block #4  My favorite so far

I need to decide how I want to lay these out. Do I make all 9  OR

Do I lay them out like this with a background block in between them ?

I also started making cosmetic bags for Christmas gifts

  1. Your swoon blocks are so rich looking! They will make a beautiful quilt! And what a happy looking couple! The wedding will be here before you know it.

  2. I love your Swoon blocks Sue. The French General fabric is just the perfect fabric for your blocks.

  3. There you are! I've missed you. :-)

LOVE your Swoon blocks and think you should make all nine blocks!

Congratulations to your daughter and her beau.

  4. I wondered what you've been up to, Sue! I'd love your idea of setting the Swoon blocks differently! Gosh - with a wedding on the horizon, you'll have lots to do soon!

  5. Oh my Sue...I just love what you have done so far. The colors and design are so pretty. It will be gorgeous when you decide which way to go with it...I like either/or...
The cosmetic bags are darling. Such lovely gifts!

Your daughter and soon to be hubby make a lovely couple. I'll bet you can hardly wait for the big day!! Did she ever find the birds that she wanted?

Wishing you a happy week in your sewing room!
    Hugs, Nancy W.

  6. You have a lot of wonderful things going on!
Your daughter and her fiancee make such a beautiful couple - wishing them great happiness!
Your swoon blocks are stunning and I also love those pretty cosmetic bags!

  7. Your French General Swoon blocks make me swoon! Great job! I knew you could do it! I may have to make me a few of those, I've got the fabric!
