Autumn Blossom & Bloggers Quilt Festival

Autumn Blossom
I am entering this quilt in the BLOGGERS QUILT FESTIVAL

Isn't the quilting on this just Amazing !

I used CAROLINA by Jo Morton fabric
This is my very first paper pieced quilt I have ever made and I just love how it turned out.  Doreen & I both made this quilt together and it holds a very special place in my heart. She designed this pattern and sent me tutorials thru out the process of making this quilt . She is a amazing designer & teacher.

  1. Oh my... this is so beautiful! Thanks for including a picture of the back... the quilting is simply gorgeous!!! This looks like a sure winner to me!!!

  2. Very pretty. Anything made with Jo is a winner!

  3. Good luck! Doreen's design is a winner, for sure.

  4. I so love this quilt, Sue! Hopefully I'll get mine made next year! It's a winner in my book!

  5. Lovely quilt--perfect for this time of year and the fabrics you used are wonderful!

  6. Oh Sue...I love it! The colors and design are beautiful. Way to go you two!!
You and Doreen should put a book together...I would be first in line to buy it!
    The quilting is gorgeous..

    Thank-you for visiting!
    Hugs, Nancy

  7. Beautiful! Perfect for this time of year. Lovely story about making it, too.
I love the accuracy of paper piecing, but not having to pull out all that paper. Well done!

  8. This is so warm and pretty! That quilting is incredible!

  9. Love the new quilt. Doreen's pattern is a winner and the pattern combined with the great fall colors you chose make for a great collaborative Fall quilt. This might be the 1st pattern that I would be willing to paper piece because the result would be worth the effort.

  10. Love the antique feel, definitely a cozy charming quilt. Isn't paper piecing great!
