Nantucket , Binding & Hot Air Balloon

It has been a fun week ! My  Nantucket quilt kit I ordered  arrived and just look at all of these yummy Midwinter Reds fabrics !  I  have started cutting my fabrics AND
All of my fabric is cut for the 9 center stars and now I am cutting all of my background fabrics
                          I also finished sewing  the binding on my A Day In Giverny Quilt
AND.........  I have my binding on Willow Weave   all machine sewn on and ready to hand sew
My hubby &  2 daughters  had  a birthday party for me Saturday .   So much fun with all my family & friends .  My actual b-day is not till Friday the 15th so I am not 60 yet.


A group of them went in together and surprised me with a gift of riding in a Hot Air  Balloon in Napa  !  How Exciting !

    Happy birthday, I'll turn 60 in about a month and a half so we're very close in age. I've always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon..maybe one of these days!!

    Oh Sue - the new kit is splendid! I hope we get to see the other two when they're done! Happy 60th! I've had 3 of them now and they just seem to get better and better! Isn't hot air ballooning the best? To do it over Napa - even better! I hope there is lots of fabric for your birthday!

    Happy birthday! Have fun on your balloon ride! I went on a hot air balloon ride outside Phoenix a few years ago. I'm afraid of heights and was super nervous for the first few minutes but then I calmed down and enjoyed it very much. It is unlike anything else.
