Finished the invisible machine applique on my PUMPKIN SPICE quilt that I started October 2013
I decided that before I started a new project I was going to finish this UFO.
Found this fabric for the backing in my stash now all I have to do some simple quilting , bind it and call it a finish !
What a scrumptious little quilt! I can see why you are motivated to finish it. Perfect backing, too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on finishing your beautiful quilt top!
ReplyDeleteThat homespun fabric is both pretty and perfect for your quilt back!
You found the perfect backing, Sue!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
You're already for fall. Cute!
ReplyDeleteFeels so good to finish a UFO! I like the backing...good choice.
ReplyDeleteSweet little quilt! Now don't forget where you put it when it's finished - you'll need to find it next fall for display! LOL
ReplyDeleteOh! Pumpkins are wonderful any time of year! I love it! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThe backing perfectly suits the top. Love this quilt - and I'm guessing the photo doesn't show the black as rich as it is in real life (at least it never does in my photos). So I think it's probably even more striking in real life!
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like the great feeling one gets from completing a UFO! Love that plaid homespun... so perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this!
ReplyDeleteI finished up a fall piece today. Here it is winter and we are working on fall.
