Tiled Blooms Aloha Girl & things for my Sewing Room

Hi

It has been awhile since I have posted...
I am trying my best to try to catch up reading the blogs I follow

My Dad was in the hospital for 8 days and it has been a little crazy here .

I did finish the binding on my Tiled Booms Aloha girl quilt and am doing a happy dance right now that I can call it a finish !

Hubby did take me to Bed Bath & Beyond yesterday with my 20% off coupons in hand and I found this Iron caddy & board holder. I have been looking for one of these for a long time and I love it.. Now when I have company I can hang them both neatly behind the door :-D     I never close this door so it is OK that that the door will not close all the way when I have these hanging. It is made by Real Simple solutions and was only $14.99

Have you seen this Rowenta iron yet ?????

I saw it at Bed bath & beyond too and it was love at first sight !!  It is SO beautiful and looks like a piece of art.  I may have to put this on my Christmas list ;-)

HAPPY SEWING !!

Sue

  3. I love your Tiled Blooms! I am nearly done with mine!
That iron is gorgeous! Rowenta irons get made in China and in Germany. I would check on that before I buy another Rowenta myself. Just saying.

  4. Boy, that iron is very stylish. Almost like a piece of art.

I hope your dad is making a good recovery. Never good when a loved one is in the hospital.

  6. Don't you love it when a quilt is "officially" finished. Yours is lovely. Hope your dad is feeling better. I like your solution for storing both your iron and board. That new Rowenta would make a fabulous gift!
