Spring Flowers in my Garden

I just love this time of year ! We had 80 degrees weather the last week and while we were working in the gardens I thought I would take some pictures to share with you of just a few of the things that are blooming right now . ENJOY !

The theme for my April Calendar Girl is CHERRY BLOSSOMS. Doreen designed this Cherry Blossom border for both of our blocks .
My favorite tree in my garden is my Weeping Cherry Tree. As they say April showers bring may flowers !

3 more DJ blocks arrived for my DJ QUILT ! For those of you who may be new to my blog my Dear Friend Doreen is making these DJ blocks for me. She is teaching a DJ class and these blocks that she is making for me are the samples for her class.

Fun weekend at the Auburn Quilt Show with a friend

Hi Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend ! My girlfriend came up for the weekend and we went to the Auburn , California quilt show. We had SO much fun !These 2 quilts were made by this featured quilter.
This quilt is Snowy Alps . Just gorgeous !
I just love the wool applique on this quilt !
The machine quilting on this quilt just amazing !

Alex Anderson was these guest quilter and these are just a couple of quilts she had on display
