Summer Days & a winner of a give away

We have been enjoying the nice weather here in California . Been busy with small projects around  the house including....

Recovered my cushions for my wicker chairs on the deck

So handy to have my potting bench on the deck for gardening  and serving guest

Luckily we do not get a lot of sun on our deck and enjoy eating our meals here

Last week I was a very lucky winner of this wonderful book from a  give away  Rebecca at  Ruby Blue Quilting  Studio  Blog !  It is filled with  wonderful projects  for  the home .  Thanks So much Rebecca for your very generous give away :-D

Hydrangeas that picked from the garden this morning
Happy Quilting !

  1. I am always amazed at your lovely garden's, Sue! We have the same tastes - the garden shoes uner the bench are identical to ours! I love that your deck has so much shade - that will be our project for next year. You'r going to have so much fun with your new book!

  2. I love your chair cushions! They are beautiful. As is your yard!

  3. I love your deck furniture and your garden/serving area. Now that we've redone our deck and put a roof over it (no shade here), we need to eat outdoors more often.

  4. I love your new cushions! I am hoping we can finish up working on our deck this summer, it has been so wet and rainy so far we have not been able to. I hope you find some great projects to make in your new book. Congratulations on the win!

  5. Your yard looks so inviting! Have fun with the new book.

  6. Your deck looks very inviting and cool on a hot simmer's day. Love the color of your new cushion. Hope you can find time to enjoy them.

  7. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous! I love your deck too, it looks like a wonderful place to have a meal or sit outside with some handwork. I'm in Florida and this time of year is so miserable with the humidity.

  8. Your new cushions and deck look fabulous!
Congratulations on winning that wonderful book.

  9. Thanks for the sunny CA views. Enjoy your win, looks like a great book!
