Its raining its pouring & Autumn Woods

Did some shopping last Wednesday when it was pouring cats and dogs .

Walked into a HOME GOODS Store and this REINDEER greeted me.
It was  $999.99 . WOW !   You would have to have quite a house to accommodate  this guy !

We have been having alot of much needed rain this week. When I went to Costco it poured so hard that it flooded the parking lot in only 30 minutes !  Now I am not complaining because we really need the rain here in California .

I did finish a quilt a couple weeks . It is called " AUTUMN WOODS "
Made with 1 layer cake of Autumn Woods fabric and some background fabric

I am using this fabric from the same line of fabric for my backing. Just love the trees falling leaves and Squirrels :-D

HAPPY SEWING !

  1. You mean you didn't get the reindeer, Sue (wink)? So glad to see the rain you're getting and hope it soaks the ground! Love your finish and the backing!
    Cheers!

  2. How many of the deer did you buy? That's a lot of money for a holiday decoration. More for a department store display.

  4. Sorry the rain is coming in buckets. It makes more of a mess than being helpful. Autumn Woods is a perfect name especially with that great backing fabric.

  5. Pouring and flooding here in Chico yesterday as well. Still happy we are getting rain but a little break would be good, maybe this weekend to dry out the soggy leaves on the ground. Love the leaves and the squirrels in your Autumn Woods, that backing is wonderful! Fun quilt and fits right into the season! That is one shiny reindeer! wow

  6. I'm glad to hear you're getting some much-needed rain. The reindeer is wonderful, but that's a lot of money to pay for one decoration that will only be out for a couple of months at most.

I love your quilt, and the backing is great too.
