Quilts of 2014

2014 was a wonderful year !
Making quilts, gardening , making new friends in blog land and now instagram !
What more could a girl ask for ;-)

As I look back at 2014 it is always fun to see what quilts I made

                                                             CALENDAR GIRLS

This  quilt that is very close to my heart.

Doreen Aunt Reen's Place and I made this quilt together . She was so kind to have done all the Redwork for both of our quilts. Doreen also designed the sashing for each month to go with the season

                                                            BLACK VELVET

One of my favorite quilts.  I used Black Dress 2 fabric by Moda and just love how it came out.
Mary of Quilt Hollow  as always did Amazing quilting on this one

                                                                  SUGAR TRAIL

This quilt was designed by Doreen of  Aunt Reen's  Place
Came out just gorgeous ! I could not be happier with this quilt :-D

It was love at first sight when I saw the quilt !!!     I have it ready to mail to Mary at Quilt hollow to quilt for me :-D

                                                          AUTUMN WOODS

A fun quilt to make using Autumn Woods fabric by Moda.  I just need to prepare my backing for this quilt and then I can mail Mary this one too :-D

A simple quilt with batik pumpkins and wool backing . Just a perfect lap quilt

                                                     MIDWINTER COZY

Made of all leftover Midwinter Red fabrics

                                                        PUMPKIN SPICE

Pieced and Applique table topper

                                                       HAMPTON RIDGE  BOM

Last but not least HAMPTON RIDGE. This quilt has taken me 1 year to complete :-D
I have sewn on my gold border and in the process of finishing the last border with mitered corners.
