Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July !
This what I have been working on in between keeping busy working in the yard and watering the gardens. I can't complain though the hottest it has got is 86.
I have been working on my 2 Gallon Crock at night and sewing a Swoon block when I am not working on my  Vintage Rouge Bom , Calendar Girl each month and hope to work more on my Evening Bloom.
I have been saving my Rouenneries fabric by French general for sometime waiting for just the right quilt to make with it. I admired
Thelma's Swoon blocks and how she made hers smaller in size . I just did not want to make 24" blocks plus I only had a jelly roll and layer cake of this fabric. Thelma was sweet enough to figure out the math for me so that I could make these 12.5 " blocks.
 THANK YOU THELMA !

I'm swooning over those blocks, Sue! I've been wanting to make them. Your wool project is wonderful - I love anything from PG! Working with wool is addicting! Such pretty deer as long as they stay away from your gorgeous garden!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
I like your Swoon blocks very much. I also have some Rouenneries waiting around for the right pattern to hit me on the head!
ReplyDeleteYour Swoon blocks look beautiful! LOVE your fabric choice for these too! Your 2 Gallon Crock project is coming along nicely. I haven't worked with wool applique' yet - very tempting!
