Progress On A day In Giverny quilt & San Francisco

I finished Blocks # 5 and Blocks #6  so  all 12 blocks are done as you can see they barely fit on my design wall .

Blocks #5

Blocks # 6  This one is my favorite of all of them

Next is making the 6 setting blocks with a little applique
Thought I would share these pictures with you from  our Day trip to San Francisco last week .  We drove down and took the ferry from Larkspur  to the Ferry building. Walked around Union square . Just love the ice rink there and the windows decorated so beautifully

Just look at this big buck is just staring at me !
Wishing everyone a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year !

  4. I wonder if you'll have another finished quilt to show us in the new year, Sue! How nice to be able to spend a day in SF! Love the Christmas village and the GO cars! I think Mr. Deer is wondering if there is a Christmas present at your house for him!
    Cheers!

  5. Hi Sue...
Oh, you are making such good progress! Love the colors in this quilt. It is going to be gorgeous!!
The pics of your trip are lovely. The flowers are so pretty to see this time of year. Isn't is wonderful to have deer so close...we have them here too. Love them as long as they aren't eating your garden!

    Take care.
    Hugs, Nancy

  6. I just had to come over to your blog and tell you how much I love your small Swoon quilt! I saw it on Mary's blog today. I've been wanting to down-size and make the pattern as well...and now I will definitely be doing it...yours is just beautiful!
